Prospect Teacher and Staff Gifting
11/30/2025 8:41 am
This holiday season, we are continuing our long-standing tradition of collecting donations for our wonderful custodial team to show our appreciation for their hard work throughout the year. In addition, we are introducing an online platform called GiftCrowd to facilitate gifting to Prospect staff. GiftCrowd enables families to make a contribution to any staff member and include a personalized message. Room Parents will continue to coordinate classroom teacher gifts.
Click here to access the Prospect staff gifting page.
Click here for the custodial gifting link (look for it listed in "Forms").
Notes:
- You may choose to give to whomever and however you wish. But gifting a smaller amount ($2-$5) to a non-classroom teacher is appropriate as this is one collective, school-wide gift.
- This is a comprehensive list (less the classroom teachers who will have their gifts coordinated by room parents). Our intention is to include everyone that families may have a connection to in order to streamline your gift-giving process.
- Please note that while teachers/staff will see which families contribute to the collective gift, the amount you contribute will be private.
As always, these group gifts are completely optional and the monetary contribution is up to each family. Should you wish to contribute, please do so by Thursday, 12/18. Gifts will be distributed on Friday, 12/19. Thank you so much for your involvement and support!

Art Club Kids: Afterschool Art Enrichment

Register at https://www.hisawyer.com/maureen-claffy-art/schedules/activity-set/1658114
Wednesdays, 3-4:15pm, 12/3-2/18 - $265 for 10 weeks
Created by artist Maureen Claffy, Art Club Kids: Draw and Paint for Life is a screen-free STEAM program. This analog art program supports higher levels of mathematical reasoning by teaching an understanding of geometric shapes in space. It also supports emotional regulation and builds self-confidence and communication skills. The program adapts to the changing needs of young artists and is completely new every week and every school year. We turn geometric shapes into objects to capture children's imaginations while imparting technical drawing skills, using high-quality art supplies.
- Session 1: Circle -> Sphere, Oval -> Cylinder (Fall, completed)
- Session 2: Square -> Cube, Rectangle -> Rhomboid (Winter)
- Session 3: Ribbon, Triangle -> Pyramid (Spring)
All supplies are provided for classroom use and students also receive a custom-printed ArtCard with the week's lesson. All teachers are personally selected by Maureen and fully trained in her method. Fully insured, documentation provided. All teachers pass background checks.
