This is a great opportunity to learn more about PTO volunteer roles, get updates/give input on current projects, and answer any questions you may have. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Wrapping Up Charleston Gift Wrap Fundraiser

Thank you for your involvement in the Charleston Gift Wrap Fundraiser benefiting Prospect School PTO. Our fundraiser was a success because of our wonderful Prospect families. A huge congratulations to our Top 10 sellers ... Elliot Lewis, Ford Crooks, Elle Lizzadro, Will Barron, Aaron Means, Allison Teubl, Reagan Shah, Autumn Lang, Madelyn Weibel, and Travis Weibel. Don’t forget to order your pizzas for Halloween! Order Home Run Inn Take 'N Bake pizzas, salads, and cupcakes with easy pick up at the school. A portion of your order will be donated back to the Prospect PTO.

Pick up at the school lobby from 2:45-3:15 on October 30th! Pizzas can be baked within 48 hours, so make it right away, or save it for an easy dinner to fuel your trick-or-treaters. Orders must be placed by October 27 using this link.

Picture Retake Day Is November 4

If your child was absent on picture day, their name is already on the retake list. If you are unhappy with your original photo, please email Jill Conkright at jconkright@d181.org or call the Prospect office at 630-861-4402 to add your child's name to the retake list. If a picture package was purchased, please return the package to the photographer. Be aware that the retake photo replaces the original photo.

New Recess Running and Pacer PAWS

We have started an optional activity at lunch recess for our students called Recess Running! Students may walk or run laps around the field and earn Panther PAWS which can be traded in for toe tokens or saved up for a free choice PE class! If you see your child wearing a chain with red feet know they are participating in the activity! There are many studies on the benefit of exercise prior to academics including better attention, focus, and improved test scores. This activity is offered every single day for grades K-5!!! Special thanks to Miss Fitzgerald and Mrs. Imrisek for managing this program!

Family Reading Night

Thank you to everyone that was able to come out and explore and celebrate the works of Christina Soontornvat! We hope you had as much fun as we did. We look forward to reading one of her books together as a school as a part of One Book One School in early 2026. We are also excited to welcome her for an author visit in May, when she will present to students during the school day and attend Fine Arts Night.
