Help Those in Need - Stuff the Squad is TUESDAY!

Prospect, along with all D181 schools, is collecting food and supplies to benefit those who access HCS Family Services in Hinsdale. Donations will be collected by police officers at Prospect prior to the start of the school day this Tuesday, April 8th.
Students are asked to bring donations with them to school and local police officers will collect the donations and "stuff the squad" car. The officers will then drop the donations off at HCS. HCS is asking for the following: peanut butter and jelly (16 oz. size), cereal (11-12 oz size), pasta, baking items (cake or cookie mix), soup, canned tuna or chicken, mac n cheese, side dishes such as Rice-a-Roni, pasta mixes and taco shells.

1st Grade Music Program - We're Going on a Bear Hunt

1st Grade students will present their musical program "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" on Thursday, April 17 at 9:00 a.m. in the Prospect Gym.
All 1st grade families and friends are invited to attend. Students have been busy learning songs, dances and instrument parts to tell the story of the classic book by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.
1st graders are invited to wear any safari attire of your choice (i.e. browns, khakis, greens, safari vest, hat, binoculars, etc) the day of the program. We hope to see you there!

Crayola Imagine Arts Academy- ArtBlazers Spring Session

Crayola Imagine Arts Academy is returning to Prospect School on Monday April 14th with ArtBlazers! Explore artists who changed the world and create your own masterpieces using the artist's style. Kids use Crayola products to explore their own creativity while learning about a variety of famous artists. From Pablo Picasso's depictions of peace to Keith Haring's street art, this class covers it all.
Class runs 6 weeks starting April 14th. Register now before it is too late! Our other two sessions had substantial waitlists.
