Room Parent & Yearbook Parent Sign-Up

 Room Parents: Plan and attend class parties, and serve as a liaison between the teacher and other parents.

Yearbook Parents: Take photos at events/parties (attendance optional) and design your class’s yearbook page.

Library Parent Volunteers for Kindergarten through 3rd Grade

 Throughout the school year parents will have the opportunity to volunteer for 25-30 minute time slots during your child's library time for classrooms Kindergarten to 3rd Grade. This is a great way to help the library staff and spend time with your child. The main responsibilities are checking books in and out to students and shelving books.

**A Sign-Up Genius for the first half of the school year will be sent to all classes Kindergarten-3rd Grade on Wednesday, August 27th** Listed below are the class library times for your reference.

Monday:
1st Grade Mrs. Johnson - 11:00-11:25
3rd Grade Mrs. Shramovich - 12:20-12:50
Kindergarten Mrs. Abitz - 2:00-2:30

Tuesday:
2nd Grade Mrs. Nolin - 10:50-11:20
2nd Grade Ms. Mundt - 1:30-2:00
Kindergarten Mrs. Wheeler - 2:30-2:55

Wednesday:
2nd Grade Mrs. Segovia - 10:50-11:20
Kindergarten Mrs. Bergin - 2:30-2:55

Friday:
First Grade Mrs. Kapotas - 11:00-11:25
Third Grade Ms. Palumbo - 2:30-3:00

The Music Committee Needs YOU!

Sign-up for this year's Music Committee is open!

 

What is the Music Committee? This team is responsible for attending their child's music classes during the school day at a date of their choosing. We are responsible for helping Mrs. Kozakis by taking photos and videos of the class with a school iPad for her to upload on Seesaw for parents to enjoy.

 

Please follow the sign-up link and add your name to your child(ren's) class that you would like to sign up for. A schedule will go out in September for an early October start time.

Hot Lunch Orders

Reminder… 2 weeks left to sign up your kiddos for Hot Lunch for the 2025-2026 school year! The link included will take you to the Membership Toolkit so you can register your child/children for hot lunch. Please review the FAQs that should answer most questions. The deadline to register for hot lunch is September 3rd. Don’t delay, this is a firm date.

All School Picture & Picture Day

 All School Group Picture will take place on Friday, September 12th.
Come in your Prospect best! If you don’t have a Prospect shirt, any red shirt will work!

Picture Day will be on Wednesday, September 24th.

Prospect Pride Fest Raffle -- Coming Monday at 10 AM!

The 3rd Annual Panther Pride Fest will be on Friday, September 12th from 4:30 to 6 p.m.! In conjunction with the Prospect Pride Fest, the PTO is raffling off school experiences for students and parents alike. An email with all raffle prizes will be sent on Monday, August 25 at 10:00 AM with many items available to "Buy It Now" through Saturday, August 30th. These are on a first come, first served basis. Items not purchased will be available via a raffle. Examples of raffle items include "Principal for the Day" for students, carline VIP, parent front row seats at musical performances, and more. Winners will be contacted the week after the event and do not need to be present to win.

More information and family ticket sales for the Prospect Pride Fest will be in Monday's email, so stay tuned!

All new students to Prospect received a very warm welcome thanks to Newcomer Committee Chairs Abby Ferguson, Sana Khan, and Lauren Martin, along with committee members Erica Camiliere, Emily Loesche, and Jackie Mason

The Bike Rodeo was a great success thanks to this year's chairs, Emily Casey, Diane Crites, and Amy Ponto! A special shout out to volunteers Katie Schmidgall, Adam Kabaker, Kim Borden, and Charlie Moskowitz for helping out on this hot summer afternoon.
