PLEASE JOIN US FOR PROSPECT LIBRARY’S SPRING BOOK FAIR
PARTNERING WITH ANDERSON'S BOOKFAIR COMPANY
Get ready for a blooming good time at our Spring Book Fair! It’s the perfect opportunity to explore new books, find exciting stories, and stock up on great reads while supporting our school library. A wide selection of books for all ages will be available, including fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, activity books, and more!
When:
• Wednesday, April 23rd from 8:25am – 3:30pm
• Thursday, April 24th from 8:25am – 3:30pm and from 5:30-7:00pm during Prospect’s Fine Arts Night
Important Info:
• Students in Grades K thru 5th will visit the fair as a class at the times listed below. Parents are welcome (and encouraged) to join their child(ren) when they shop with their class! You are also welcome to send money with your child to shop during this time and our volunteers will help your child manage the purchasing process.
• We accept CASH and all major CREDIT CARDS (sorry no checks).
• You can help our teachers build their class libraries too! Make sure to check out the Teacher Baskets to donate a book to your child(ren)’s classroom.
The Prospect Library directly benefits from a portion of all book fair sales. These proceeds help us add new titles to our collection and replace worn out favorites, ensuring our library continues to grow and inspire a love of reading.

Interested in getting involved next school year? There are several volunteer opportunities ranging from PTO board positions to staff appreciation to spirit lunches. There is a committee for every talent and involvement level! It’s also a great way to get familiarized with the amazing school environment.

Help Those in Need - Stuff the Squad is TUESDAY!

Prospect, along with all D181 schools, is collecting food and supplies to benefit those who access HCS Family Services in Hinsdale. Donations will be collected by police officers at Prospect prior to the start of the school day this Tuesday, April 8th.
Students are asked to bring donations with them to school and local police officers will collect the donations and "stuff the squad" car. The officers will then drop the donations off at HCS. HCS is asking for the following: peanut butter and jelly (16 oz. size), cereal (11-12 oz size), pasta, baking items (cake or cookie mix), soup, canned tuna or chicken, mac n cheese, side dishes such as Rice-a-Roni, pasta mixes and taco shells.
