Luminaria

As part of Clarendon Hills' long standing tradition of lighting luminaria on December 24, we are looking for volunteers to light the sidewalks of Prospect. Candles, bags and sand will be donated by two Prospect families and delivered to the volunteers. Please contact Katie Schmidgall (katie.schmidgall@gmail.com) if you and your family would like to help light up the night!

Register for the 5th Grade Winter Party!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 12th! The 5th grade class is taking over the Oak Brook Park District Pool from 6 to 8:30pm.

Registration is $45 per student, and it includes unlimited swimming, pizza, desserts, drinks and a custom party favor. Please use this link to sign up. Deadline for registration is January 6th. You will also receive an Evite in your inbox with the information as well.

*We also need 2 dads who are willing to volunteer and monitor the boy's locker room. Email one of the hosts if you can help us!

🎶Are you ready for it?🎶 Get ready to join BAMtheatre at Prospect this spring, where we're bringing the magic of theatre to your after-school routine! This term, unleash your inner star in “In my BAM Era: Taylor’s Greatest Hits," featuring all your favorite songs from the world renowned pop star! Save the date - classes kick off on Thursdays starting February 13.

BAM's comprehensive structure features a blend of captivating activities, games, and rehearsals, all culminating in a showcase on the final day for friends and family to enjoy. Registration opens on Friday, December 20, at 10am. Secure your spot pronto—availability is limited, and this class is known to fill up fast!

Golf at Prospect

Elementary Golf School is offering an exciting junior golf program at Prospect School, designed to expose golf to juniors of all ability levels. This program is created and taught by PGA Professionals, to include lesson plans that are fun, safe, and educational. Kids will be given the opportunity to experiment with playing a variety of different shots. Our program teaches basic fundamentals, with plenty of variation for practicing and playing. We will not only teach the shots, but also the etiquette, behavior and finer points of the rules of the game. Our instructors will be able to adjust the level of complexity to each child’s individual level of progress.

Classes will be held on Mondays 3:05-4:15 p.m. from 9/16 - 12/16. There will be no class on 10/14, 11/4, 11/25. To register for the after-school golf program at Prospect School, please visit www.elementarygolfschool.com.

Crayola World of Design

Students take a journey to the farthest reaches of the imagination while learning about the ocean, the rainforest, Mars, a futuristic city, and much more! We use the design thinking process to solve real-world problems in these different environments. Children will experiment with Crayola® products and many art techniques like sculpting, storyboarding, collage, and mixed media. Students will discover different design careers. Think it! Draw it! Make it!
