Welcome to Prospect Elementary School. We’d like to introduce (or re-introduce) you to the Prospect PTO! Our school community is blessed to have dedicated families who are committed to enriching the education of our Prospect students. We would like to share what the Prospect PTO offers and how you can get involved.

How do I stay informed?

To start, are you familiar with our website and our weekly Sunday Email Newsletters? They’re the best way for parents to keep updated on the weekly events and to learn about extra-curricular activities, special events, assemblies, and activity registrations.

So, bookmark and add to your contact list so PTO communications don’t go to your spam!

If your family is new to Prospect, expect to hear from our friendly Newcomers Committee over the summer. They will help you navigate the ins and outs of Prospect School and answer any questions you may have.

How do I register for the PTO?

Online PTO registration for the 2018-19 school year opened on Monday, April 16. Click on the “PTO Registration” button on the right to sign up. From the registration web page, you will be able to pay your PTO activity fees (required annually), order school supply kits, volunteer on PTO committees or to be a Room Parent, and more.

For a detailed description on each committee, please view our list of PTO Committee Descriptions.

To join one or more wonderful PTO committees, click the PTO Registration button on the right and look for the sign up links.

Why should I volunteer?

The Prospect PTO encourages parent and community involvement to support our children in both their academic and social education. Our volunteers ensure the ongoing success of all of Prospect’s programs. There is a PTO committee for everyone – volunteer positions big and small, including several tasks that can be done at home. From one-time events to on-going clubs to programs in the classrooms, there are many ways to be involved and share your time and talents with Prospect School and its amazing students.
It is our pleasure to represent the PTO and we welcome any questions – please feel free to contact us!
